Witheridge Wood is 6 acres of open woodland, close to the village of Stoke Row. Predominantly beech trees intersperced with oak, ash, silver birch, wych elm, field maple and wild cherry.

The whole woodland has a high conservation value and is a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest. The area is almost square and to the north and east are bounded by the public highway. The diverse ground flora contains over 40 species normally associated with ancient woodland in Southern Britian, including one species afforded special protection under Schedule 8 of the 1981 Wildlife and Countryside Act.

From the centre of Henley proceed through the Market Place and up Gravel Hill passing the town Hall on your right. Continue on for approximately 4 miles until the T-junction at Bolts Cross. Turn right and at Highmore Village Hall turn left towards Stoke Row and follow the road towards Stoke Row. Using the Sat Nav will take you close to the entrance, please do not park at this point, there is a wide verge opposite the wood halfway along the frontage.
